Such an amazing place Wendy and Stephen have built with so much love. We were so well taken care of, pampered and well-fed :)

Days at the Lake was a fun time. Wendy and Stephen were awesome hosts. What a fantastic cook she is. Stephen thanks for the fun time at twin lakes, Biggest bass i have ever caught and boy was it great tasting !!! :) Yum. You both made us feel right at home. I’m so looking forward to our next trip out here. It was a very humble experience. Had lots of laughs and a great time. Thanks again love you guys!

A charming dwelling on a beautiful setting with an inviting lake made for a wonderful time spent here. When you mix in the two very pleasant and attentive hosts its easy to feel refreshed and rejuvenated following your stay. It is difficult to have to leave but look forward to a return visit. ” Days at the Lake” is a place to be shared with many others !

Where do we start?
A last minute decision to go away for the week-end and the feeling of being so lucky to have found such a delightful,relaxing place was rejuvenating. But wait, there is more…………your hosts Wendy and Stephen…..polar opposites for sure but a great partnership. We just loved how down-to-earth you to are and how you made us feel like we have known each other a long time. I know your new venture will do wonderful and thats why we booked well in advance, for October!
Counting the days and Stephen, get your fishing gear ready!

OH MY goodness Lisa and Paul it is us who are the lucky ones. I am still thinking about you both and miss you today.
The only comfort i have is that i will see you soon as time moves so fast so before i know it October will be here again and not only will i see you again i will meet your family too :)

What a breathtaking place!!! I believe that everything happens for a reason. When someone brings out the best in you, well then you know that you were meant to meet them. Stephen and Wendy do just that, and they are the hosts of hosts! As Wendy says, “Arrive as a guest and leave as a friend!“ Well I know that when I return it will definitely be different, because when I return, I will be returning as a friend! Thank you so much for your hospitality and anyone who is lucky enough to spend time at Days At The Lake and fortunate enough to spend time with Stephen and Wendy will definitely cherish the moment Thank you and until next time!

Thank you so very much for having us as guests at your B and B.
Your hospitality is greatly appreciated and your warm and welcoming manner made our stay very satisfying; like we were at home. Our only complaint is that we booked just one day. Hoping we can arrange more days somewhere along the line.
The atmosphere, the food, the spacious accommodations, a really comfy mattress, the location, the lake and everything else really set the tone for an excellent time. Particularly enjoyable was the sunset boat cruise.
What was of particular interest was how quickly you two made all this come together with your own two (actually, four :) ) hands including the complete construction of your facilities. That is very remarkable.
It is hoped that your endeavours will be a great success as we expect it will be in keeping with our experience.

We happened upon Days at the Lake Retreat and we did not want to leave. Our stay was so wonderful we felt like we were with family. The accommodations, the cleanliness, the food was second to none. A slice of heaven and we were lucky enough to find this wonderful place. We have already booked a return visit only this time we are staying for a week and we are bringing our friends with us. I email Wendy at least 5 times a week and she and Stephen have made us feel just like family. We are looking so forward in visiting for every season and be rejuvenated once again over and over again.
